Patch to correct Care Systems 9.05.00 Resident Billing issue

An error in the ResCare Version 9.05.00 Periodic Billing function was reported today.

When a ledger date of 2nd January 2010 or later is used, the Posting Batch preview screen displays a blank page, instead of previewing the posting batch. The billing calculation is still functioning correctly, but the batch cannot be previewed prior to being accepted.

A patch file which corrects this issue is now available from the Care Systems website:

Also note this file should only be ran on the application server machine. If ran on a client machine it will not cause any problems but it will NOT fix the problem.

This file contains an installation program that will update your existing ResCare 9.05.00 files with the corrected version.

Please ensure all users have exited all Care Systems 9.05.00 programs before running the patch file.

• After downloading the patch run it on the server machine.
• Since this is a patch the procedure is painless - on the welcome screen press Next and then agree to the licence agreement. The patch will then be applied.
• Press Next then Finish the close the installer.
