Actual & Exceptions
From the moment the employee places their finger on the time and attendance device, the roster and payroll process is automated. Actual attendance information is transmitted directly into the Roster. On route, comparisons are made to their schedule and where there is no discrepancy, their pay is automatically approved.
For those employees whose attendance falls outside the allowable parameters set by the organisation, a daily exception report is produced, for review and action, if required. Understandable differences can be easily approved, while sustained neglect toward an employee’s roster can be managed accordingly.
Automate Data Capture
10-15 minutes each fortnightly pay period is the time an employee most likely takes to manually record their attendance on a timesheet. In place of this, in a few seconds, the same employee uses a device that is suitable for all levels of technical ability. Place a finger on the device, use a Biometric scanner or input their employee number on PIN pad is the sole action required to automatically record their data. Now, a swift and seamless integration has occurred to the all important Rostering and Payroll.
Improved Productivity
While capturing an employee’s actual attendance, automated devices have a direct relationship to improving employee productivity and accuracy of data by removing the time an employee takes out of their day to record their data on a timesheet, while removing errors that may find their way into the recording process.
Time better spent maintaining the environment caring for residents is most probably the best outcome. Improved productivity, savings and removal of errors are now in place for the life of the facility.
Integration to Rostering & Payroll
Care Systems’ Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) is particularly well known throughout the Aged Care Industry. Purpose designed and built for Aged Care, the system is known for its comprehensive coverage of all facets of a facilities’ operation. Robust, flexible, effective, easy to use and an strict adherence to legislative requirements, Award interpretations and their associated agreements are typical client comments about the system environment.
When focusing on the IFMS’ Rostering & Payroll modules, introducing a Time & Attendance device at the front end of the roster and payroll process merely extends the straight through processing methodology to include data capture at source.
Efficiency of operation and the removal of resource duplication are key elements of the Care Systems’ Rostering and Payroll. Automated production of pay slips can be and emailed, posted or delivered, depending on the nature of the organisation and the employee.
